About Relix Candle Collective
Relix – Pronounced “Relics” – Our name derives from the word “Relic” alluding to the definition of Relic: “an object surviving from an earlier time, especially one of historical or sentimental interest.”
We’re two local Vancouver girls who have a love for thrifting, candles, sustainability and ethical business. We created Relix Candle Collective by accident, while making gifts for our families on a budget. We’ve since expanded to producing large amounts of candles out of our parents backyard shed, selling at local markets, private home sales, and soon online! Each of our candles are hand selected and repurposed from vintage trinkets found at local thrift stores or by donation. We hand – pour natural soy wax into each canister and scent with both essential oils and natural-based candle fragrances. We believe you shouldn’t have to throw away your candle when it’s done, so we offer refills for 50% off the original price of your candle.
We’re spreading some love in these uncertain times by doing a series of initiatives for the next few months.
#RandomActsofCandles encompasses positivity, generosity, and kindness. Relix Candle Collective will bring “light” into people’s lives by donating $1.00 for each candle sold to the Greater Vancouver Foodbank
