Eat Think Vote Pre-Election Town Hall at the Greater Vancouver Food Bank

Vancouver, B.C. –The Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB) is hosting Eat Think Vote, a food security town hall Thursday, October 10th.

If you could talk to the next federal government about food in your community what would you say?

Food matters. Canadians make choices every day about food that directly impacts their health, environment and communities. Please join us for a moderated town hall gathering with federal candidates from our four catchment areas of Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and the North Shore.

The event is part of Eat Think Vote, a non-partisan campaign coordinated by Food Secure Canada with events from coast to coast to coast, encouraging communities to dialogue with their federal candidates about how we can improve our food system.

At the GVFB, we feel strongly that food security should be at the forefront of

election discussions.

Eat Think Vote will be moderated by Richard Zussman, Global News legislative reporter.

Svend Robinson- NDP, Burnaby North-Seymour
