Join us for a three part discussion and cooking workshop series with VCH HLP dietitians. Learn fun and creative ways to flavour foods, incorporate more fruits and vegetables and whole grains into your diet. Each session has a presentation on the night’s topic as well as cooking and eating 6 different recipes! Bring your appetite!
Space is limited. Registration required. Priority will be given to people who attend all 3 sessions.
November 20th 6:00pm-8:30pm Sodium, blood pressure, label reading and eating out
November 27th 6:00pm-8:30pm Fruits and vegetables, disease prevention, gut health and cancer
December 4th 6:00pm-8:30pm Whole grains, omega 3’s, heart health and mindful eating
Each participant will receive a bag of produce to take home. Free for clients of the GVFB. All other participant’s attendance is by donation starting at $5.
Transportation to the Production Way Skytrain Station will be provided after the workshop. Bus tickets available if needed.
