Community Agencies

Our Community Agencies are local non-profit organizations that provide various food security programs within their communities.

Community Agencies

These organizations are supported weekly through the two programs we offer: Community Market (smaller shopping model) and Community Capacity (larger delivery model). Both programs use an online ordering system, which allows us to provide nutritious, healthy food to our partners. In 2023, we provided more than 2 million lbs. of food to our local community!

Are you interested in partnering with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank? Please read this Information Guide to start!

Community Programs

  • Community Markets: Agencies access weekly support by ordering online shelf-stable products and self-select additional fresh, frozen, and non-food products during a “shopping” experience at one of our Agency’s Markets.
  • Community Capacity: A model designed for smaller food banks, Agencies access a rotating weekly menu for up to 450 people by ordering online dry, fresh, frozen, and non-food products that will be delivered.

This program is open to any non-profit organization with a registered charity number within our local area (Vancouver, Burnaby, New West, and the North Shore).

Please note that your request’s approval will depend on food availability and is contingent upon your program meeting the specified qualifications. To access this program, please download and complete the form below.
