We are honoured to be selected as one of BC’s Top Employers for 2023 for the third consecutive year and grateful to be recognized amongst the top organizations in the province.
Now in its 18th year, BC’s Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. This special designation recognizes the British Columbia employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. This year’s winners were announced in a special magazine co-published with the Vancouver Sun on February 14, 2023. Employers are evaluated by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers using the same eight criteria as the national competition: (1) Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
With an ever-increasing demand year after year, our operations have consistently expanded. This growth has been made possible by the unwavering support of our community, including dedicated volunteers and generous donors. However, it is essential to recognize that our staff plays an even more significant role in meeting this demand. They are the backbone of our organization, working tirelessly to ensure that we fulfill our mission to all who come through our doors. Without their dedication and hard work, none of this would be possible. Together, with the support of our incredible staff, volunteers, and donors, we strive to make a lasting impact on our community and those we serve.
